Tigo Business and Microsoft today announced a partnership network of cloud computing Microsoft: Microsoft Cloud OS to bring the benefits of enterprise cloud computing in the Latin American region. This partnership will enable the delivery of innovative applications and cloud computer services to the business community in Colombia, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Bolivia and Paraguay.
The agreement brings together two brands that combine their expertise to offer a range of products and services such as managed data services, security, payment in local currency and accounting and business management. Tigo Business will work with Microsoft as a strategic business partner that provides IT management services and solutions that enable its customers to manage their infrastructure needs.
The combination of Tigo Business data center infrastructure with Microsoft’s infrastructure allow large companies and mobile operators enjoy the services of backup and disaster recovery, thereby increasing resilience and security networks customer service across the Tigo Business network, reduces latency and improves SLAs. Additional services such as virtual desktop infrastructure vdi and database will be provided through the partnership under the cloud service models. Tigo and Microsoft have also developed the Cloud Solution Provider (CSP), which allows Tigo sell licenses for Microsoft CSP address the needs of small and medium enterprises program.
